Dear Mission Partners,
I have been in USA since Sept. 18, 2018. I went from Jacksonville, FL to Bethesda, MD for my 59th high school reunion. I am thankful to have met old & new friends there. I met believers in Jesus. I visited with Toni Birch with whom I roomed in 1959 at the University of Maryland. I met some Jews. I returned to Jax, to trade my van in for a mini-van. Then headed to Chattanooga, TN. Richard Cohen turned 70 in Nov. and started receiving his social Security check and got a permanent part time job. All along the way I met financial supporters and prayer partners. Then to Tulsa , OK where Pastor David Langley helped me with my computer needs. I then went to OH, NY, NJ, VA and back to Jax to be with my brother and sister for Christmas. In Jan. I covered FL then headed to AL and AR. In Morrilton, AR area I spoke in 2 Baptist churches I have never visited before. I returned to Owasso, OKwhere again David helped me with my computer needs and correspondence to supporters. David sent out this first letter of recognition of financial support in May. I am thankful for the body of Christ. I went to TX, to be with CMC headquarters (March 2-3) then to Odessa (Mar 9-14), Plains (16-23) & Lubbock TX (Mar -24) where I have supporting churches. Then to Davenport, Iowa Mar 29-31) and then Chicago, then to northern Manitoba, Canada to Thompson to a supporting church. I witnessed to an Israeli father & son in Winnipeg, MB with Elvin Ensign. Then returned to USA to Chicago to visit Dan Flasman & Norman & Kathy Oswald. I visited Calvary Bible Church in Ellerslie, MD (May 3-5), Dick Tredinnick in Gainesville, VA (May 6), NC Bill Barnard (May 7) and to Jax, FL to return to France May 15 to continue my summer ministry to East Europe beginning June 1. I must first go to Switzerland-CH.
I am thankful to all who have received me on this trip and for those who have prayed. I am thankful for each financial gift given so far in Jan to April, 2019. As Abraham’s servant said after finding Rebekah for Isaac: „I being in the way, the LORD led me..”. Genesis 24:27Michael David Bentley

Cand Dumnezeu spune NU
De câte ori nu ne-am rugat la Dumnezeu și El ne-a răspuns la rugăciuni. A făcut miuni pentru noi, a iertat, a binecuvântat, a mângâiat. Totuși, au fost situații când El nu ne-a răspuns niciun cuvânt. Au fost momente când toate rugăciunile noastre au fost în zadar.
Apostolul Pavel s-a rugat lui Dumnezeu să îi îndepărteze țepușul din carne. De trei ori a făcut asta. Răspunsul pe care l-a primit a fost, nu! Domnul Isus s-a rugat de trei ori să I se îndepărteze povara. Răspunsul pe care l-a primit a fost, nu!
Ce faci când Dumnezeu spune nu? Mulți oameni se supără, ca și cum ar fi avut dreptul să li se răspundă. Alții sunt dezamăgiți de Dumnezeu. Totuși, atunci când Dumnezeu spune nu, te doare. Nu putem nega durerea negației mai ales când cineva suferă de o boală sau de poveri sufletești.
Ne punem întrebări, avem dileme, însă nu trebuie să uităm că răspunsul lui Dumnezeu nu este todeauna acela pe care l-am dori. Gândurile lui Dumnezeu sunt diferite de gândurile noastre. Atunci când El nu răspunde unor rugăciuni, are în plan binele nostru ulterior și glorificarea Lui.
Nu răspunde când vrem noi pentru că dorește ca din luptele noastre să scoată un și mai mult bine pentru noi, să ne tranforme într-un om mai bun, mai credincios și să scoată laude pentru Gloria Lui într-un final.
Trebuie să avem încredere în El. Lui Pavel, Dumnezeu i-a zis că harul Lui îi este îndeajuns, ca apoi apostolul Pavel să afirme cu toată încrederea că atunci când este slab, de fapt este tare. Toate acestea pentru că în momentele de slăbiciune ale vieții te bazezi pe puterea lui Dumnezeu iar atunci ești întărit.
Domnului Hristos, nu I-a fost îndepărtat paharul. Motivul suntem noi. Suntem rezultatul suferinței Lui. Avem toate motivele să-I aducem laude lui Dumnezeu.
Chiar și când Dumnezeu spune, nu!
